Three years ago, I picked up a friends original 1960 310 (two pups, trap tail piece) and it decidedly had a 1/8" back. This gets even more confusing between the 1958, 59, and 60- on models. This only matters if one is trying to determine the depth of the ramp from measuring back-to-top. This is tricky info, because it varies with what particular year you're going for, and the fact that while some early models had 1/4" backs, others had 1/8" backs. 1 inch deep at the center, not counting the 1/4" back. The ramp is roughly 8 degrees, and is appx. The toughest aspect of the body is the ramp. Type of Pickups -Vintage Single Coil Toaster Top Tailpiece -Kauffman Vib-rolaīridge -Vintage repro roller
